Colonial Kicks Soccer Camps
2019 Goalkeeping Academy
July 14th - 17th
The Goalkeeping Academy is open to any and all goalkeepers, ages 10 and up. The Goalkeeping Academy will run in conjunction with the College ID Program and the Summer Soccer Camp. William and Mary’s Associate Head Coach and goalkeeper trainer, Brendan Bourdage, will direct the program. Coach Bourdage will be assisted by current W&M goalkeepers.
The program is intense and very focused. Attendees will train three times daily, covering all aspects of goalkeeping. In addition, due to the relationship with the Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp, goalkeepers will have the opportunity to take their training into 11-a-side matches and other smaller-sided competitions.
All Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy campers will receive a training jersey, in addition to a Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp t-shirt. Cost for the Goalkeeping Academy is $765 for Residents and $630 for Commuters.
For younger or part-time goalkeepers, we will offer goalkeeper training during the morning session only. Campers may choose to participate in this training on any or all days. Attendees who choose this option, as opposed to the Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy, will not receive goalkeeper training in the afternoons and evenings, but will instead rejoin the field players for league play and other soccer-related games and activities. Campers who train as goalkeepers in the morning only will also not receive a training jersey. Part-time goalkeepers seeking this option need only register for the general Colonial Kicks Summer Soccer Camp.
Camp Size: The total number of campers in all programs during the July 14-17 session will be capped at 225.
Refund Policy: If campers are forced to withdraw before the start of camp due to injury, illness, or family emergencies, partial refunds of the full price of camp, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be granted by the Camp Director.
